Conway Data Announces Editorial Staff Changes: Adam Bruns is new Editor in Chief of Site Selection; Mark Arend Moves to Editor Emeritus

Atlanta, October 10, 2023 : Atlanta-based Conway Data, Inc., has announced a realignment of its editorial staff. Effective immediately, Mark Arend will move from Site Selection Editor in Chief to Editor Emeritus, and Adam Bruns from Site Selection Managing Editor to Editor in Chief. Bruns will also move to Head of Publications for the company. Site Selection Publisher Laura Lyne said that the moves were made to streamline the processes of producing Site Selection and Conway Data’s other works. In establishing the Editor Emeritus position, she said she will “look to Mark to come up with interesting, insightful stories and commentary that are targeted to our audience. He has been in the trenches with Site Selection for 25 years and will use that experience to contribute a unique perspective.” Bruns, a native of the St. Louis area who grew up in suburban Kansas City, joined Site Selection as Managing Editor in early 2002. A 1986 alumnus of Knox College, he resided in Chicago; Midcoast Maine; Savannah, Georgia; and Lexington, Kentucky, before settling in the same Greater Atlanta community of Peachtree Corners that Site Selection calls home, where he lives with his wife and their daughter. |
Between them, Arend and Bruns have authored thousands of stories and edited thousands more for Site Selection, its sister publications and Conway Custom Content publications over a combined 47 years with Conway Data.
