NORCROSS, Ga. The U.S.-Cuba Business Conference slated on Feb. 17-19 in Cancun, Mexico, and Havana, Cuba continues to attract the cream of the American agri-business community. ADM, Wrigley and Cargill have all just joined the big corporate names on tap for the conference, recently announcing their intentions to send delegations to the meeting.
In addition, Washington Sen. Maria Cantwell (D) will lead a contingent of growers from that state to the conference. Cantwell will also be one of the featured keynote speakers at the two-day session in Cancun. The 2003 U.S.-Cuba Business Conference is unique in that it features a fully hosted day in Havana on Feb. 19 as part of the conference. Delegates will board a chartered flight in Cancun on Wednesday, Feb. 19, for the short, one-hour trans-Caribbean hop to Havana.
Cuban Government Officials An evening gala, hosted by many of the top Cuban government officials, will complete the festivities before the charter returns that night to Cancun.
