Palm Harbor, Florida
for Spring ’03 Forum
The IAMC Spring 2003 Professional Forum will be held April 6-9 at the Westin Innisbrook Hotel in Palm Harbor, Florida. Palm Harbor is in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area of the state and the Westin property there is consistently ranked as one of the top hotels in the chain.
In selecting Palm Harbor, the IAMC Board of Directors looked at a number of factors including geography, amenities, price and recreation opportunities. In the end, however, it was the size of the market that carried the day.
“IAMC is the right size organization for hotels and cities that offer a more intimate setting,” says IAMC Treasurer Charles McSwain, of CSX.
The Board, in accepting Palm Harbor as the spring 2003 site, asked that future Professional Forum locations utilize northern cities in the early fall and southern locales in the spring. The Fall 2003 and Spring 2004 sites will be announced at the Palm Harbor Forum in April.
