IAMC Insider, Site Selection magazine, July 2003

Dear Fellow Professional: IAMC has just completed its first year of existence and we already have more members than our most ambitious and optimistic founders thought possible in this time frame.         Moreover, we already have two incredibly successful Professional Forums under our belt and have our third Forum ready to go this September 7-10 in Boston. Jack Brophy IAMC Chair         Pleased… Excited…Overjoyed… There doesn’t seem to be adequate words to describe the feelings of those of us that took the IAMC leap of faith last summer.         We dreamed of a professional organization that would address the needs and concerns of the corporate real estate professional who works in the manufacturing and industrial sector. We wanted to create an organization that would truly represent the place where the market comes to meet.

       
By golly, we did it! IAMC has indeed established itself as the organization we envisioned.

       
Our meetings have been highly interactive, low-key, informative and yes, fun. We have all enjoyed the collegial atmosphere of the IAMC Professional Forums and we have seen what a well-planned organization can accomplish in a short period of time.

       
Site Selection magazine is an important part of the total IAMC package and I am thankful that the editors of this first-class magazine have agreed to be the

official

magazine of the organization. The insightful and well-researched articles that are the hallmark of Site Selection provide timely and useful information to all of our members.

       
In this, the first edition of Site Selection that is focused on IAMC, I would like to offer my thanks to the editors for their support. In addition, I want to urge every IAMC member to utilize the extraordinary opportunities that the Site Selection partnership offers each of us.
