Dear Colleague:

The Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) was founded this year to better meet the professional development needs of executives with corporate real estate and asset management responsibilities. As the organization’s first chairman, I am proud to be a part of the IAMC and to be associated with an extremely talented and dedicated board of directors.

Our economy continues to be on-again, off-again, but we know that when economic traction is regained, you and I will be on the front lines of planning and implementing the future needs of our companies.

This will be the time when the best in our business prove their mettle.

The IAMC continues to attract the very best among the executive ranks of corporate real estate and asset management professionals — proving that an organization that emphasizes the importance of professional education and peer-to-peer networking is the best way to enhance professional standing and improve performance.

I have no doubt that as our economy rebounds, the professionals of the IAMC will be right in the thick of the action and will be among the leaders of their companies’ efforts. After all — putting our companies in a position to compete is what we do best.

Regards,

Jack Brophy

Chairman

To: IAMC Members and Forum Attendees

Welcome to the new Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) and the inaugural IAMC Forum in Savannah, Ga.

On behalf of the IAMC leadership and staff, we are delighted that you have elected to become a part of this organization.

Since its inception, IAMC has targeted the top executives from the corporate real estate and asset management ranks. It is vitally important that this organization live up to its billing, and we intend to do everything within our power to see that the IAMC delivers on its promises.

Our promises are simple, but they are demanding: To be the leading organization of executive-level professionals in the corporate real estate and asset management field and to deliver the very best
available education and networking experiences for our members at each of the two IAMC Forums to be held each year.

Since everyone is new to IAMC this year, this is the perfect time to become involved in the organization. Drop your business card or drop us a line and tell us where you believe you fit into IAMC. We’ll do our best to get you there.

Sincerely,

Larry Edge

President
