Inaugural IAMC Professional Forum Rated A+ The varied program featured corporate culture expert Peg C. Neuhauser, employee retention specialist Greg Smith, economic futurist Jeff Thredgold, Toyota's Sanford Smith addressing that company's "Process Green" and noted author Dr. Robert Kriegel on his new book, "How To Succeed in Business Without Working So Damn Hard -- Rethinking the Rules, Reinventing the Game." In addition to the featured speakers, the IAMC Forum showcased eight Contributor's Workshops in which the details of corporate real estate and asset management were dissected. In his opening remarks to the members of the new organization, IAMC Chairman Jack Brophy said that IAMC is the place "where the market meets, and where the market works." He further exhorted members and prospective members alike to use the opport unity they had before them to "grow in knowledge, in professionalism and in friendship." From the comments gathered by IAMC members attending the Savannah Forum, Brophy's remarks were right on target. "If you are involved in the real estate aspects of warehousing, manufacturing and/or logistics," said S. Bleecker Totten, of Insignia/ESG, "the new Industrial Asset Management Council is perfect for you. It is the place to meet and share information with your peers."
