IAMC Membership Numbers Continue to Climb

To read the IAMC membership report is to see a blueprint for immediate success. An organization that wasn't even officially founded until July of 2002, IAMC already boasts a membership roll in excess of 150.
In addition, the IAMC lure is so strong that the Board of Directors capped the associate membership numbers at 100. However, the Associate cap will continue to rise at a ratio of one new Associate for every two new Active members that join IAMC.
"It is important that we maintain a balanced active/associate ratio," says IAMC Secretary Jack Logue, of Argonne National Laboratories. The prevailing thought among the entire Board was to adhere to this philosophy while allowing the organization to continue on its current growth pattern.
If IAMC membership projections hold to form, the organization should experience substantial growth by the time of the Spring 2003 Professional Forum in Palm Harbor, Florida and should be just under 300 members on its first anniversary.
"I'm convinced IAMC is the right organization at the right time," says Doyle Shea, of R.R. Donnelly, Inc., who joined the organization in Savannah after coming to the inaugural Professional Forum to see what IAMC was all about.
