A decision vector has pointed a company’s HQ to the town of Bonham in Fannin County, Texas, located in the Texoma region of the state. To be specific: Industrial process equipment maker Vector Systems Inc. announced on St. Patrick’s day its decision to move its headquarters from McKinney to Bonham with an expansion of its operations that will take its footprint from 15,000 sq. ft. to over 56,000 sq. ft. eventually.

A release from Bonham Economic Development Corporation (BEDCO) stated production at the company’s new Bonham headquarters “will leverage global data center growth, as well as the company’s work in the renewable energy, power generation, emerging technologies and refinery sectors. Vector Systems is projected to reach $100 million in revenue within three years [from $35 million today], with plans to increase its workforce from 129 employees to approximately 230 during this period.”

It was two years ago today that David Adams of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, from aboard Hydrographic Survey Vessel CATLETT, made this photograph of damage resulting from the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore after the container ship Dali lost power and collided with the bridge, resulting in the deaths of six construction workers.

A report from the National Transportation Safety Board in November found that a single loose wire caused the power failure aboard the ship. Link here to keep up with the latest on the bridge rebuild. The Maryland Transportation Authority Board in November released an updated cost estimate range for the rebuild of between $4.3 billion and $5.2 billion, with an anticipated open-to-traffic date in late 2030.
