Conway Data Expands Again, Partners with Janus Institute Publisher of Site Selection Magazine forms alliance with economic development organization noted for producing the hugely popular Janus Forum meetings.ATLANTA, Ga. (August 26, 2013) – Conway Data Inc., publisher of the award-winning Site Selection Magazine and organizer of The World Forum for Foreign Direct Investment, has announced a new partnership with the Janus Institute for the purpose of delivering best-in-class peer learning to economic developers. The Janus Forum, held annually in scenic Northeast Georgia on Lake Rabun, brings together invited economic developers from around the country to assess critical issues currently affecting the profession and shaping its future. Launched five years ago by noted site consultant Robert Pittman, the Janus Institute serves as the administrative home of the Forum and disseminates the results of the Forum to attendees of the yearly gathering. The Institute also offers other services – including assessments and strategy recommendations – to the profession and communities. The new partnership between Conway Data and Janus was announced at the Forum held last week in historic Lakemont, Ga. “Robert Pittman is respected nationwide for his knowledge, expertise and leadership in site selection and economic development consulting,” said Ron Starner, executive vice president of Conway Data. “By forming this alliance with Pittman and the Janus Institute, we will be able to enhance the already superior offerings of this organization and deliver comparable programs in other regions of the country and beyond.
