A New Voice Joins the Site Selection Editorial
Team
Atlanta,
October 11, 2013: Further strengthening
the team of journalists behind its growing family of award-winning
publications, Site Selection magazine has hired Patty Rasmussen as senior
writer.
“Patty is a most welcome addition to our editorial
team,” says Mark Arend, Site Selection’s editor in chief. “Her enthusiasm for covering
our industry and for writing about it engagingly will help ensure that Site
Selection remains the must-read publication that it has been for nearly 60
years.”
Patty
Rasmussen has worked for the past 15 years as an Atlanta-based freelance writer,
covering such subjects as Major League Baseball, health care, business and
economic development for publications and websites including ChopTalk Magazine,
WebMD, Womenetics.com and, for the past decade, Georgia Trend. Her monthly
column, “Power Players,” profiled Georgians from all walks of life:
philanthropists and entrepreneurs, CEOs and college presidents, a golf caddy in
Valdosta, and elected officials at every level. Rasmussen also co-wrote the
recently published memoir of retired All-Star pro baseball pitcher Billy Wagner
titled “A Way Out: Faith, Hope and the
Love of the Game.”

getting to know people, really listens and then translates that to the page.
