Podcasts and coffee pods continue to multiply on parallel tracks. Westrock Coffee Company in July opened its new 525,000-sq.-ft. ‘Clark’ facility (pictured) in Conway, Arkansas, that will focus on manufacturing single-serve coffee products and potentially expand into additional product formats in the future. Of the total space, 130,000 sq. ft. will be dedicated to manufacturing, while the remainder will support fulfillment and distribution, the company said. “Global demand for single-serve coffee continues to rise,” Westrock stated, “with the coffee pods market valued at $35.3 billion in 2024 and projected to more than double to $71.2 billion by 2034.”
Site Selection first reported on Westrock’s Arkansas experience in October 2023, followed by a December 2024 case study in the Arkansas Economic Development Guide from Conway Custom Content.
